Team Lead Electronics to Stoneridge Electronics
Are you looking for challenges within an innovative business within electronics and embedded systems? We are now looking for self-motivated and experienced team leaders within Electronics, for our two product groups:
Vision & Safety is developing advanced camera based system that will replace mirrors and enhance safety for commercial vehicles. We are working with the latest in camera image sensors, high speed digital data communication, image processing, FPGAs and displays.
Our Connectivity team develops the next generation connectivity modules for commercial vehicles that will be the central communication node with the latest in connectivity interfaces and functions like 5G, V2X, Wi-Fi, BT, GNSS, inertial navigation and automotive ethernet.
Your main task is to develop the electronics part of our new development projects together with a team of electronics engineers. This includes, quotation work, concept development, system design, planning, follow up, reporting, requirement handling, design and testing. As a Hardware team leader you have many interfaces, both regional and globally such as customers, our manufacturing sites, procurement, mechanics and software team. We think that you have had a similar role or you are a developer that wants to take the next step and start guiding others. The next step for you after a while in this role at Stoneridge can be to become a project manager.
One of our challenges is to design products for the harsh requirements in the automotive sector but at the same time cost effective and reliable. Our products has the latest technologies used in embedded systems where you will be an active in decisions in technology and system solutions in areas of micro controller’s, memories, modems, positioning, vehicle and wireless interfaces.
The ideal candidate we are looking for has
- An interest in vehicles and vehicle electronics
- Previous work experience within electronics development
- A master’s degree or similar and at least 3-5 years of experience in development of electronics for embedded systems
- Pronounced team player and with team leader skills
- Active in communication, cooperation and with a customer oriented way of working
- Experience of advanced MCU:s, RAM, nand flash, EEPROM, high speed signals and general digital design.
- FPGA knowledge is meritorious.
- Knowledge within telecom and modems is meritorious (for Connectivity position)
- Knowledge in camera technology and high speed digital camera interfaces is meritorious (for Vision&Safety position)
