Senior TechOps Engineer / Team Lead (Windows)
We are looking for a Technical Operations Engineer who wants to be a central part of the business delivery!
SG Digital (part of Scientific Games Corp. NASDAQ:SGMS) provides innovative software that powers the world’s most successful operators and online gaming providers. We are leaders of the global market and are used by millions of end users.
In this role you will work in the the Open Platform System (OPS platform) unit. The OPS platform is an advanced and highly transaction intensive gaming and account system, handling player data, wagers, payments and game specific business rules. The platform is widely used by gaming operators around the world.
About the role
As a Senior TechOps Engineer / Team Lead you will be responsible for ensuring that our customer-facing applications are supported, maintained and installed correctly. The role involves both support work as well as working on new customer implementation projects. The role is roughly divided in 30% planning the daily work for the team and 70% operational work. Other responsibilities include:
- Take initiatives to process and solution improvements
- Handle incoming incidents, change requests, problems and in-depth root cause analyses
- Driving operational requirements towards development and product management
- Engage, involve and plan the weekly work for the team
Your new team consists of four curious and experienced colleagues that all works with the same systems and product. You will work in a fast-paced environment where each team member play a central role for the business.
What we are looking for
We believe that you love troubleshooting and get excited when you need to investigate new features. As a person we believe that you are positive and enjoy talking to different people and groups. As a Team Lead it will be important that you can organize and prioritize the tasks and that you always seek to improve yourself- as well as the team. We also believe you have experience of:
- Working in production environments, preferably in 24/7 operations with high transaction volumes
- Working with Application Support in Microsoft environments (Windows, IIS, MS SQL Server)
- Following ITIL Service Management Processes
