Supply Chain Operations Industrial Base Performance is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions with a clear environmental focus. We are now looking for a Mechanical Designer to join the Lamination and Web Handling team.
What you will do
As our new Mechanical Designer, you will be involved in development projects and problem solving activities across the converting line, as well as supporting our factories.
You will focus on:
- Development and design of Converting equipment
- Continuously improvement
- Securing design and functionality through Requirements management, Virtual Engineering and Technical Reviews
- Collaboration with converting factories and suppliers
This position will be located in Lund, but you will work in a global arena. Some travels will be part of the job.
Who you are
We believe you are passionate about your work and you take ownership of your activities. You also need to be self-motivated with an inner drive to seek knowledge and add value to the team and organization. Your communication style is open, and you find it easy to collaborate with others within and outside the organisation. Analytical reasoning and a structured way of working is important to be successful in this position. You have a Bachelor of Science or higher in Mechanical Engineering and experience from working with mechanical design, preferably production equipment. Your English skills are good, written as well as spoken.
