Supply Chain Operations IBP (Industrial Base Performance) is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions with a clear performance focus.
What you will do
As our new Implementation Engineer, you will prepare and perform installations of converting equipment on site at all our factories.
You will focus on:
- Prepare, lead and participate in installations and site management activities
- Coordinate and participate day to day installation site activities and resources
- Be a part in the operational work on site
- Lead implementation and maintenance of working standards
- Lead in Continuous Improvement activities, issue resolution, OHS compliance
- Provide correct and efficient training to converting factory staff
- Drive capability development of people, processes and tools for site installation work
- Lead/participate in technical audits with the goal to overcome or evaluate performance issues on our converting lines
The position is based in Lund, but the job is performed globally in our converting factories with extensive travel required, around 75 % of your time.
Who you are
You have a deep level of knowledge of installations of converting equipment and a good level of knowledge of processes and technologies for converting procedures. You are handy and enjoy operational work. As a person you have great communication, planning and negotiations skills with a problem-solving mindset and solve the issues as they arise. You possess and apply relevant principles, practices and procedures for the completion of difficult implementation /installation assignments. You also have deep knowledge of OHS and WCM methodology in general and Early Management principles in specific. You have the capability to manoeuvre effectively through a highly complex stakeholder landscape in different cultural situations. To be successful in this role you have at least 5-10 years of experience in installing and leading installations of converting equipment in an industrial environment.
You are fluent in English, verbally as well as in writing. Language proficiency in Chinese or Arabic is an advantage. You have good IT knowledge, especially of MS Office.
