Would you like to take on a leadership role within the Strategy & Category Development team?
What you will do
As our new Processing Solutions and Equipment Strategy & Category Development Leader, your main focus is to lead strategy development and to secure implementation in the sub-categories assigned. The position operates together with a team structure including representatives from business units, clusters and other central PSE functions. It falls on the Strategy & Category Development Leader to build, maintain and secure development of both teams and team members, in collaboration with respective line management. Each team consists of approximately 10 persons and you may lead up to 3 teams.
The main responsibilities include:
- Overall leadership of PSE strategy development within the assigned (sub-) categories including market analysis and objective setting
- Development of global and cluster plans that will secure that ambitions are achieved
- Implementation, follow-up and adjustments or mitigation of plans when necessary
- Strategy approval presentations to the leadership team
Plans are anticipated to include all elements required to reach set ambitions including portfolio, market coverage, competitiveness and other capabilities.
You will report to the Strategy & Category Development Director and your work location is preferably in Lund. The position will require travelling, approximately 15-20% of your time.
Who you are
To be successful in this role, you have a food production/packaging, engineering or marketing background and at least 10 years of proven experience working with structured business- and/or strategy development and implementation. You have proven analytical skills and the ability to conclude and prioritise complex subjects into tangible actions.
You are self-motivated and have acquired a comprehensive understanding of the Tetra Pak business, products and competition and you can work both strategically and operationally. Leading a remote team without formal authority requires a good, inspiring and patient people leader and your solid internal network will be an important asset.
Excellent written and verbal English skills are essential as well as presentation skills. Finally, an ability to deal with ambiguities, make sound judgements, and collaborate with colleagues are prerequisites for this role.
